Changes save on their own a moment after you stop typing. Each entry box has its own yield. Yield · IK each converts one IK count into pounds, and applies everywhere. Yield · LB multiplies whatever is typed into the LB box, and applies only on Net Chef and Trends — the Day and Week screens always show the pounds that were actually weighed, so a cook who bins one pound sees one pound. Leave it at 1 wherever a pound is already a pound. Changing either affects today onward; days already logged keep the numbers that were reported. Log by chooses which boxes appear on the entry screen — use IK only or LB only for items that are never counted the other way, and the unused box disappears. Unit cost is the price per Shows as unit ($ per lb for most items). Daily target is the acceptable waste for one day — leave it blank for no target; the weekly target is seven times it. Removing an item that already has logged waste retires it instead of deleting it, so past weeks keep their numbers.
